Common South Florida trips
- Cruise departures from PortMiami and Port Everglades for groups starting in Tampa Bay.
- Sports travel for teams and fans headed to games and tournaments in Miami and Fort Lauderdale.
- Corporate events and conferences in Miami Beach and Fort Lauderdale.
- Multi-day tours that combine Tampa, Orlando and South Florida.
Planning a long-distance charter
A round trip to Miami is 9 or more hours of driving before any waiting time. Federal hours-of-service rules limit bus drivers to 10 hours of driving and no driving after 15 hours on duty, so same-day round trips to Miami are usually not possible with one driver. Most groups choose one of these options:
- Overnight trip. The driver stays near your destination and drives you back the next day. Driver lodging is included in the quote.
- Two one-way trips. Drop-off one day and pickup on your return date.
- Relief driver. For tight schedules, a second driver can extend the legal operating day.
Drive times

Frequently asked questions
Can we do Tampa to Miami and back in one day?
Usually not with one driver, because of federal driving-hour limits. We will suggest an overnight trip, two one-way trips or a relief driver.
Who pays for the driver's hotel?
Driver lodging for overnight trips is included as a line item in your quote, so there are no surprises.
