Three kinds of wedding rides
The couple
A private sedan or SUV for arrivals and the grand exit. Often the only vehicle that stays on hourly all day.
The wedding party
A Sprinter limo or minibus moves the bridal party and groomsmen together between getting ready, photos and the ceremony.
Your guests
Shuttle buses between the hotel block, ceremony and reception. This is the ride guests remember most, and the one that keeps everyone safe at the end of the night.
A sample wedding-day timeline
This example is for a 150-guest wedding with a hotel block, an off-site ceremony and a separate reception venue.
| Time | What happens |
|---|---|
| 2:30 pm | Sprinter picks up the wedding party for photos |
| 3:30 pm | Guest shuttles begin loops from the hotel to the ceremony |
| 4:30 pm | Ceremony |
| 5:15 pm | Shuttles move guests to the reception |
| 10:00 pm | First return loop for early leavers |
| 11:15 pm | Grand exit in the couple’s car; final shuttle loops to the hotel |
Working out how many shuttles you need? Use the math in How many wedding shuttles do you need?
Across Tampa Bay
We run weddings at downtown Tampa hotels, historic venues in Ybor City and Hyde Park, waterfront venues on Davis Islands and Harbour Island, and beach resorts from St. Pete Beach to Clearwater Beach. See our pages for St. Petersburg, Clearwater and Sarasota.
Planning tips from our dispatch team
- Book wedding transportation as soon as you set the date and venues. Spring and fall Saturdays fill first.
- Share your planner's timeline with us early. We time shuttle loops around the ceremony start, not the invitation time.
- Put the shuttle schedule on your wedding website and on a sign in the hotel lobby.
- Plan an early return loop for older guests and families with kids.
- Confirm venue access and parking for large buses, especially at private homes and gated venues.
Frequently asked questions
How far in advance should we book wedding transportation?
As soon as your date and venues are set. Six months ahead is common for spring and fall Saturdays.
How many guest shuttles do we need?
It depends on how many guests need a ride, the bus size and the drive time between stops. Our wedding shuttle planning guide shows the math with an example.
Can you coordinate with our wedding planner?
Yes. We work directly from your planner's timeline and give them a single dispatch contact for the day.
Do you decorate vehicles for weddings?
Ask us about simple decorations for the couple's car. We keep them tasteful and residue-free.
